Raw Vegan Salad, Muladhara Salad

Muladhara Salad is called after Muladhara Chakra  (Sanskrit: मूलाधार, IAST: Mūlādhāra, English: “root support”) or root chakra that is one of the seven primary chakras according to Hindu tantrism. Muladhara Chakra can be stimulated by red colour.

I love this Salad with so many shades of red in it. And the beet with nori seaweed gives it unforgettable earthy taste. Its red earthy colour mix, that is pleasant for the eye and healthy for the body.

Ingredients:

  • Mix of all possible leafy greens that you can find. The more variety the better!
  • Fresh spinach
  • Raw beets. Slice them very thin and cut in small pieces. they should be very crunchy, yet easy to chew.
  • Red grapes.
  • Sweet Cocktail Tomatoes
  • Nori seaweed. Get nori sheets for sushi and cut them with scissors.
  • Any sprouted seeds will work. I love broccoli sprouts as they are very dense in nutrition.

Sause Ingredients: No salad is done without great sauce. Mix the following with blender

  • Lemon
  • Olive oil
  • Agave
  • Caen
  • Garlic and onion
